For several years, in conjunction with the Church, applications for parking restrictions in Brockley Grove were submitted. Often there were cars parked in Brockley Grove all day which reduced the potential parking for tennis members.

This was finally negotiated and agreed with the local and county authorities: approval was obtained, which then enabled the mud parking verge (which was often ponded in wet weather) to be surfaced with tarmac.

Particular attention was paid to working and resetting the natural drainage and then parking yellow line were laid.

Also jointly with the Church, the garden area adjacent to court 1 was reconstructed, providing further parking space.
