As you may be aware, after the challenging weather on the Saturday it was decided that the afternoon’s order of play would be postponed to the Sunday.

Far better weather was forecast, and duly arrived and it was good to see a number of members checking out the fine food, wonderful new garden house and of course, the first class tennis on show.

The Men’s singles was between Mark Nash and Clark Sargeant. Age came before beauty, and therefore…Mark won the match. Sorry about Paul Gibson’s shorts.

The Men’s doubles was a fabulous match up between Clark Sargeant and Dave Sadler vs the dynamic duo of Coach Christian Allen and his young prodigy, Charlie Bischoff. As usual, Christian wouldn’t allow a Finals’ day to pass without him getting his hands on a trophy – C and C ended up beating C and D.
