Please note with subscriptions completed, we have been able to compile this year’s social play rota.  There have been some fundamental changes this year in line with the AGM in Nov of last year, and hence it is very important for all full adult club members to read.  

 

In line with what was discussed and agreed at the AGM, each full club member will now have an undertaking to complete asocial play rota duty.  The aim is to increase participation, help members to use their membership and meet and play with other club members.

 

We have created a Wednesday night social rota as well for the first time, and each full member will have been given a dedicated rota slot as per the attached Excel spreadsheet.  There is one tab for Saturday afternoon social play and one for Wednesday nights.  ‘Selective Social’ continues on Saturday afternoons once a month to be held by team captains as outlined in the rota in yellow.  These sessions are organised by two members with the object of choosing fours which are appropriately ‘balanced’.  

 

For those unfamiliar, to do a rota undertaking involves:

 

-Arranging for refreshments, tea and coffee, biscuits and cake as determined by the person on the rota

-Helping with the general running of the social play (Wed night or Sat afternoon), further details can be seen in the Summerhouse / Clubhouse if unclear.  

 

We appreciate that the slot provided to any given member may not be appropriate and if you need to make an amendment or have any query for the rota, please email the below email address dedicated to the administration of the rota.  If you need to make a change, we ask that you find a fellow club member to change with and email the Rota Inbox with the changes.  From here the Master copy of the rota can be updated, kept and communicated.
